Pumpkin, I'm sorry but he does not look "hot"; if anything he looks like an unpaid extra from "Night of the Living Dead".

I know people are tired of old fogies like me harping on it, but Micheal Jackson ceased to be "hot" shortly post THRILLER. From "Off The Wall" till sometime right after Thriller, the man was FINE. This. Is. No. Longer. The . Case lol .

It's called 'body dysmorphic disorder'. Michael has it, and so do the people that think he still looks 'hot'. nod

He doesn't look hot to you, which I can understand. I think he looks hot, and I knew what I was getting into when I typed that. I could have kept that to myself, but I couldn't help it, even if I wanted to... biggrin

Well you'd better put a lid on that excitement as you've got a long time to wait. A year and a half seems like an awful long time. I guess he's enjoying the freedom of Bahrain and not feeling the pressure to work. 40 years in the industry , who can blame him.

I have to say, after the disappointment of Invincible, i wont be waiting with breath that is baited.

don´t worry, I´ve been a fan long enough to know it will take time.

Anyways, I would just like to say that I find it quite unbelievable the way some of you guys are able to put him on a scrapheap, only because his last album was not his best. I mean Prince has done LOTS of albums that I don´t like at all, and I still believe he can make great music. Same goes for everyone else with me.

last several, actually... invincible, blood on the dance floor, history vol 2.

Jackson confirms new management deal

Tuesday April 18, 01:29 PM

Michael Jackson has confirmed his new manager is English music mogul Guy Holmes.

Jackson has signed a record deal with Two Seas Records, the label he has founded with Bahrain ruler Sheik Abdulla Hamad Al-Khalifa.

Gut Records chairman Holmes has been named Two Seas Records Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The superstar is currently writing a new album which is due for release late next year.

Jackson, 47, says, "I am incredibly excited about my new venture and I am enjoying being back in the studio making music."

Holmes - who has helped Crazy Frog and Tom Jones top the charts - will oversee Jackson's new album and manage the superstar's other business interests.

Someone has to pay for the recording and production. Hi-story cost millions and lost money. Lots of luck. Michael is still and always be a pedophile

Agreed. The last great MJ CD was Dangerous. HIStory was overproduced crap that only his fans champion,Blood on the Dancefloor was scattershot, and Invincible was just stale.

hug Anyone who thinks HIStory (Disc 2) is better than Thriller rocks.

Now I'm not harping on Thriller, cus I love me some "Human Nature" and "Billie Jean" and "Wanna Be.." and "Beat It" and "Thriller" and "Baby Be Mine"..okay wait I love the whole album.

However, on HIStory I also dig every track. (I don't dig "Little Susie" or "Smile" as much as the rest, but I still dig them.)

Point being...there are 15 songs to love on HIStory (Disc 2) as opposed to 9 on Thriller.

MORE TO LOVE!!!! biggrin biggrin biggrin

Yeah, but with Prince I didn´t really dig Musicology or Rave either. So who cares, right? I just know that Mike is a genius who can come up with a wonderful stuff anytime just as prince no matter how succesful (or unsuccesful) their last project was.

3121 is the first prince album i have actually liked since the gold experience, but neither compare with his 80s output, and to be frank, i doubt anything he ever does again will touch the 80s stuff in my opinion

4rom the pic, it looks like he made a deal with the mafia and they're about 2 sink him.

Knowing that some1 like prince can knock out a song as fast as u can blink your eyelids, and knowing the delivery of music can be almost as quick as that blink - mp3's over the net - the whole idea of waiting so long 4 an album that will most likely fall way beneath, even Invincible standards, sounds like i'd rather have a cool beer and just forget all about it. I dunno about all this...

He looks better in the larger version of the pic. By MJ circa 2000 onwards standards, he looks good. Of course if you are going to compare him to pre 1985 MJ you can fugedaboudit.

Personally I think the title track and "Superfly Sister" make the album automatically one of Michael's best. I love those tracks! biggrin

The only way he could interest me was if he took a step back into normalcy & simplicity. But he never does that, he always wants to outdo himself with the hugeness of the project.

You can see where Butterflys worked to some degree because it was a nice song, no hype, pretentious title, etc, but the "Invincible" thing seemed to fail as a whole.

That is because Butterflies was written by the girls R&B group "Floetry".

Rolling Stone: Floetry: Flo'Ology
Strong songs set this well-mannered R&B rap apart despite regrettable name.

Given Floetry's silly name and background in poetry, you'd think this British duo - "songstress" Marsha Ambrosius and "floacist" Natalie Stewart - was genetically engeneered to impress Grammy voters and Jill Scott fans. Following up six nominations and a live record that improved upon the two's ho-hum 2002 debut, their third album mixes stylized lushness and just enough forward motion, with Stewart and Ambrosius working up urbane, velvet-lined valentines full of darting rhymes and coiling croons.
Most crucially, Floetry can write (for one, they penned Michael Jackson's 2001 track "Butterflies"); they dot Flo'Ology with heartfelt charmers such as "Feelings" and the Common-assisted "SupaStar," which overcome their lovesick platitudes through their smart arrangements and slo-mo hooks. Dull spots abound, but at its best Flo'Ology gives moonstruck beauty a good name.

Eat this haters razz ...

Michael Jackson Roars Back With G-Unit

Embattled pop star Michael Jackson will hit the streets in the coming weeks with the new song "Trial of the Century," which features 50 Cent, Lucy Diamonds and DJ Whoo Kid. The track will be found on Whoo Kid's mixtape "MJ Unit -- The Takeover," which will also feature five unreleased Jackson songs and mashups of his prior hits with songs from the G-Unit camp, Billboard.com has learned.

Sources say "MJ Unit -- The Takeover" will also boast exclusive tracks from 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Mase, Young Buck, Mobb Deep, M.O.P. and Lucy Diamonds. Jay-Z has also been contacted to contribute to the project, which will be released via G-Unit/Interscope and Jackson's new Two Seas label.

"Trial of the Century" will be the first taste of new music from Jackson since his June 2005 acquittal on multiple child molestation charges. He has since moved his base of operations from California to Bahrain, where he has begun preproduction on his first new studio album since 2001's "Invincible."

Sources say the first single from the as-yet-untitled project, "Now That I Found Love," will be released Nov. 21 and will also feature Lucy Diamonds. The track is being produced by Jackson and longtime collaborator Bruce Swedien, who engineered the classic "Thriller" and co-produced the album "Dangerous."

As previously reported, Two Seas Records is a joint venture between Jackson and Abdulla Hamad Al-Khalifa. U.K. record executive Guy Holmes has been tapped as CEO of the label and will also be tasked with managing Jackson's other business interests.
