She has her merit! We should consider them not her! If it wasn't for Will that would have ever been Goldfrapp, the group! Madonna is an icon...as for Alison?? I guess she's more of style icon! Ah, well, that's a relief Matronik (sorry 'bout wrong spelling there), ok, please explain, since i'm quite 'new' here, why is every topic about either MJ and relatives or Madonna. Doesn't -like in this case- a band like Goldfrapp have a right to have a topic on their own, rather than cover it up by again mentioning Madonna? It's really scary to see how many topics are about these people like M & MJ, I mean, water & wine besides, has Madonna ever come close to a masterpiece like 'Felt Mountain'???? I know she's still -and always has been- good looking, and a really clever woman, but that's not what music is about, is it? I think a woman who simply samples the hell out of Abba's Gimme Gimme doesn't deserve as much attention as she (still) does nowadays. Actually it's not even her idea, it's in this case Thin White Duke/Rhytm Digitales whatever his name is. How do you think Madonna would sound like if she really would make a solo album??! O gosh, I feel a new Madonna topic coming.... | |

And believe me, I know enough of Madonna, I was into Jellybean before most people even heard of Madonna, I played 'Sidewalk Talk' 'till death the first time it was released, not caring about the background singer alone. | |
