I like listening to Death In June's best of collection, 'DISCriminate'. It's very bleak.

Gitane Demone's 'Am I Wrong' is another good one. A very sad album.

I looked for these on iTunes, but they don't have them. They seem interesting... what are they like? I may need to take a trip to Tower Records to see if i can track them down.

Yeah, they are kinda obscure--especially the Death In June comp which I know is out of print. Their sound is now labeled neo-folk I guess, although they were more industrial leaning at the beginning. There is lots of fascist imagery in their music so I don't really support them.

Gitane used to sing with Christian Death and this solo album has more of a dark cabaret type of feel. Amazon still has copies available so if your Tower outlet is very cool they might have one too.

I listened to I Get Lonely so many times after my breakup with my ex. Janet was my homie then.
