Why Madonna doesn't do Texas.

It's been 16 years since we've seen madonna in Texas live. The last 3 tours haven't come anywhere near here. SInce she reinvented herself she's
put on condensed of skeleton tours. This is where she only does the very major or largest cities in North America, Europe and now Asia.

If you know Texas you know Houston and Dallas are some of the largest cities in America. Bigger than Atlanta and Las Vegas which she did on the last tour. I don't know if it's cause of the image of Texas or low rrecord sales but she isn't coming here. DOes anyone know howcome?

Madonna's past tour schedules have been designed for her to spend the least amount of time on the road and make the most amount of $$$ possible. Tours are grueling and pull her away from her family. By focusing on what she and her handlers deem to be key markets, she can get away with outrageous ticket prices because if she builds it, they will come, (I being one of the they), and she does a great show and gets a hefty check for it. Not a very Kabbalistic approach, but great business!
let me come over it's a beautiful day to play with you in the dark

It irritates me that she skips Texas. I mean, yea it does have a conservative atmosphere, but not everyone is like that. Madonna does have a VERY sizable fanbase in Texas. If she were to play in either Houston or Dallas(both in the top ten US cities), she would sell tickets very quickly. Hell, she would also do great in Austin, especially since it's a very liberal city

Well, I live in Laredo, Texas, a small city that Im pretty sure she wouldnt go to. But if she were to hit either Houston, Dallas or Austin, I'd be there(though the trip to Dallas would suck since it's a good 8 hr. drive).

Why does she need to make the most $$$ possible? Doesn't that much money get boring? I mean, I thought she had moved to a more spiritual approach to life, but what do I know... I simply don't get this craving for that much money though.

I think this debate would help if we knew just how much this tour costs her. She certainly has more shit to haul around and 3 times as many people to pay as your average performer.

To add onto it she does't perform on Fridays. It's a Kaballah thing.

You say she only performs in key markets. she does Atlanta and Las Vegas which are far from being metropolises. Las Vegas I could see.....tourists casinos,
but Atlanta?

Yeah, huge production costs. A lot of electricity too. Not the most environmentally friendly... lol
