From where I sit, Joe was a decent songwriter/producer, who's songs and style were simply unchanging and got old after awhile. The dude also appeared to have zero personality. Just my take.

I have all of Joe's cds. Quite frankly, I am a fan. He has a great voice and writes great songs. The only reason he isnt a super star is because, like someone said earlier, he isnt the most charismatic artist out there.

...and don't get me started on Jesse Powell. He is one of the greatest male R&B singers of my generation. He needs to come on back. No one can touch that voice! I still bumb his Bout It cd (1998) on a regular basis.

I would love to hear a Joe/Janet Jackson duet. That would be off the chain.
