what does this have to do with friendship? it was a publically offered business transaction, period... none of us are in any position to make this issue personal..and making a statment about friendship does just that. Space for sale...

Paul McCartney
He has a billion without even owning his own music! That takes some serious business skills. Lionel Ritchie was up there before all his divorces, etc. actually, Prince is on his way up there! He is not even 50 years old and shows no signs of losing any of his musical skills for atleaat another 10 - 15 years. He can tour for another 15 years and make a HUGE huge buck!! We are the ones that will get older with him & we have money to spend. Why would anyone that saw the Musicology Tour NOT want to see 3121,etc,etc,etc??

Andrew Lloyd Webber He is ranked the 65th richest Briton in the Sunday Times Rich List 2005, with an estimated wealth of £700m. Damn!

Reason : TAxes Taxes Taxes he bought it for $48mil and now its worth alot but since he didnt sell the holdings he owes tons of taxes ont he nearly $500mil gain and after he pays of nearly 300$mil debt he will be lucky if he has $100mil left

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/h...035107.stm The rich rockers 1. Sir Paul McCartney (£500m) now they value him at 760mil(2005) 2. Sir Elton John (£156m) 3. Mick Jagger (£145m) 4. Keith Richards (£125m) 5. Tom Jones (£100m) 5. Englebert Humperdinck (£100m) 7. David Bowie (£96.5m) 8. Sting (£96m) 9. Phil Collins (£95.9m) 10. George Harrison (£86.9m) [Edited 4/16/06 13:54pm] Hmmm. According to this article, U2's members were worth 70 million pounds each, and that was before their last 2 albums and tours which were huge successes. I don't see how they could have made more than the Stones, though. They don't charge nearly as much for concert tickets, they don't have corporate tour sponsors and they haven't been around as long. How do they research these articles anyways?

Her Sugar Walls just got a little sweeter. And $40,000,000 is somewhere I've never been. That's why I'd never fall in love again!

Just to clear up something, Michael Jackson is not broke. People have been claiming he is broke for 6 years! He's not broke, he owns so much publishing rights, that alone would make him worth more than most musicians alive. But not as much as Paul McCartney. He's the richest musician alive.
