What Glove tracks can you not wait to hear RS sing? no fair saying "all of them"! Keep your headphones on.

I must say...all of them.
This has always been kind of a missing piece of the Cure puzzle for me. But I think having the demos with his guide vocals will turn that around for me. I'm a huge Cure fan, but I must admit that I only know "Mr. Alphabet Says" and "Perfect Murder" very well.

And who's heard their EP "4 Play" yet? Fantastic!

And now I must finally get to bed. It's 5am here and I'm being totally irresponsible. Love y'all. Night!

what is that? re: 4 play ep?
personally i can't wait for "sex-eye-makeup" and "looking glass girl". I think this reissue is going to be the most exciting one yet. They should include the unreleased "torment" and maybe the complete song that appears as low-volume interludes on the original album. hopefully they won't omit the bonus tracks that appear on the og cd either, they better not, i LOVE "mouth to mouth" and can't wait to hear robert sing that one either. no, i haven't caught their royal albert hall set yet, but what a setlist - i've been told edge of the deep green sea was especially good. Keep your headphones on.

from the chainofflowers january news archive... New '4 Play' Cure compilation on iTunes (UK) includes 4 new interviews and the re-recorded versions of '3IB', '17 Seconds', 'Faith' and 'Pornography' from the Mike Hedges sessions last year, when The Cure was a trio of Robert, Simon and Jason:
"It seems like the Cure have done something special for iTunes: the 4 tracks TIB, 17 seconds, Faith and Pornography have been re-recorded. The package is called '4 play' which includes some interviews about the 4 preview Deluxe editions and also couple tracks from it. But, as always with iTunes, you could not buy this album if you're not living in the UK!"

None really. I rather liked the vocalist that was used on the album. Maybe that's why I'm not a hardcore Cure fan. I just have all their albums by accident.
I'm more looking forward to the Banshees' 'Nocturne' DVD which includes the 'Play At Home' TV special with Robert. I think he and Severin performed a Glove track on that.

And a mighty fine guitar at that. According to Severin, the Banshees wanted to collect as much of Robert's work with the Banshees at the time onto that DVD as possible. The "Dear Prudence" video will be on there as well. Now if only the band would change their minds about releasing the "Swimming Horses" video (also with Robert) one day. I've read they are not too fond of it in retrospect.

I'll be curious to hear the tracks with the new vocals, but 'can't wait' wouldn't be an accurate level of anticipation.

"can't wait" only because the reissues so far haven't really entertained me much yet. this at least is an entirely different album than anything rs was ever involved in (yes, even the top) so i think there will be some really exciting things on it. looking forward to the next batch tho, especially kmkmkm.
