I full heartedly disagree. I thought that the album had many merits to it...I enjoyed it for the most part esp...
White Lines Lay lady Lay Ball of Confusion The Crystal Ship (He brings out Jim VERY well) Watching the Detectives I wanna take you Higher And the cover of one of thier own...Drive by, which is a clever cover of The CHauffer. They do a formidable job on the album and it's much more listenable than Liberty, Medezzaland and even Astronaut (though it that was an ok effort). More so, they didn't really go for the conventional "staple" covers. Personally, I had not heard most of the songs...just Lay lady Lay and I wanna take you Higher sounded familiar. Simon has a lovely voice that lended itself well to these songs. Christian Zombie Vampires

intent to harm-intent to bribe-[i]intent to make the shittest album ever there is no law regarding the intent to get high. And it's not the shittiest album either. Not even by their standards. That was one magazines opinion. It's not even yours so what gives? Christian Zombie Vampires

Q have been rubbish for at least 10 years. They're almost as bad as NME.

I haven't heard that album, but their cover of Bowie'e "Fame" is outstanding.

I will unashamedly say that I adore DD's version of White Lines. And Lou Reed said that their version of Perfect Day was how he originally pictured it.

Or even Love And Rockets' cover of "Ball Of Confusion"? I must have listened to the radio way too much in the 80s and 90s. I thought those songs were quite popular.
