For any fans who felt disappointed in the last couple albums, especially the last one with Nicole Russo, this new song is STELLAR!!!!!. Their sound is definitely back and this song sounds like a throwback to old soul

I was devastated when she left the band. They only did 2 albums together and I consider their second, Brother Sister, to be the bands all time best. I never ever thought I'd hear them together again and it's happenning

go to KCRW.com and check out the music shows. They archive them and they have excellent shows. The DJs play whatever they want. Let's put it this way, I have heard Starfish & Coffee and A-U-T-O-matic in their entirety on the Saturday show called "Chocolate City". I am so lucky to have a radio station like this. I subscribe to them every year

So is it their uptempo full-on funk band styley? Describe the sound!

The most recent album is more of a pop album vs their usual acid jazz style. I have no doubt, at least from the sound of the lead single, that the sound that defined this band will be in full swing on the new album.

Know what else it reminds me of??? Stevie Wonders "I was made to love her". Not an exact copy of the sound but that is what also came to mind. That is what I meant by old soul

trip the hell out It is a Jackson 5 remake. Sounds great tho. I hope I'm making a fan out of you something kinda scary about a 10 year old singing about stuff like this, although that is back in the days when MJ really tore it up with his singing.....wonder why that didn't translate into his adult years. He never really sang as soulfully as he did back then.

Anyway, kinda creepy this stuff coming from a 10 year old but fitting coming from a grown ass woman.
