OK, so it's NOT Janet's newest single, but an unreleased vault track from 2004 UPDATE:
WELL FOLKS. UMMM.. THIS ISN'T THE NEW SONG. I was sooo excited, though. Actually, it's the unreleased vault track "Speed It Up"/"Put It On Me" from the Damita Jo era. I FEEL SO SILLY NOW FOR SCREAMING AND SHIT, BUT THE SONG IS HOTTTT!!! LOLL :::DEAD::: OH GOODNESS. BUT SORRY ABOUT THAT... THE NEW SINGLE IS COMING IN MAY, BUT IT'S NOT THIS ONE. SORRY. FEEL FREE TO CALL ME AN A**HOLE FOR GETTING YOU GUYS ALL WORKED UP.. I WAS JUST EXCITED TO HEAR SOME NEW JANET MUSIC. IT WAS ACTUALLY RECORDED IN 2004. SORRY!!! I heard a radio rip. It's bad quality. Not sure if this is the first single or what, but it's definitely a new Janet song. Never heard it before. Brand new. That's all I can really say right now. More info as it comes!

not crazy about the rap but the rest is pretty good! catchy and very, very danceable! yeah, very current but better than most of the stuff i've heard lately, even if its a bit too repetitive. the beat makes up for it! | |

I also learned tonight that this recently unvaulted Damita Jo song was played during the Janet dancer auditions for the 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Unfortunately, Janet never used it. I'm surprised she didn't release this song back in 2004. It was some hot urban/radio Beyonce/Amerie/young R&B chick sounding stuff.
