Chuck is highly underrated as an innovative singer, songwriter, guitar player, and performer...and sexual deviant.
I once saw him do what Bruce Springsteen described in that movie, and Bruce was there again. Chuck launches into a song without saying which one it is or what key it's in. So the band begins playing in about five keys at once, you can see Bruce mouth to some other bandmember "Nah, no idea, man." Needless to say, it was hilarious & god awful. My Legacy

Chuck Berry is god as far as rock and roll music is concerned (with all due apologies to Eric Clapton). I guess the thing about him is that there's not so much variety in what he does, but he's written so many killer songs that hardly matters. | |
