Even Bad publicity is good publicity! By doing this thread you have given Madonna more exposure, thus more records sold!

Haven't cared for MJ since Mojo hooked me on Prince but I like JJ and Madge so...

I love all 3! But maybe they should each have their own dedicated sticky to keep the countless threads to a minimum.

They're certainly overrated or overrepresented in this forum.

I feel like I know more about the Jacksons than my own family!

But what do you expect, we are on a site dedicated to an 80s icon. Of course the other 3 big 80s icons are going to pop up a little more often than not.

I don't hate any of these artists, but I will say.....

MJ's had his day. I don't believe he can make a real comeback. I'm not the least bit interested in anything he has to say these days, so I doubt I will buy anything he releases, unless I hear it and think it's worth my time and money.

Janet is down right boring these days. She doesn't seem to know what to do with herself or her career. She really should look into doing something completely different. Why doesn't she act anymore? I hope her next cd isn't just a rehash of her same old shit and I desperately hope she gets some new dance moves and keeps her tits out of those uncomfortable looking push up bras!

Madonna hasn't done anything truly interesting in years. Her latest cd is ok, but it's too retro/dance for my liking. IMO - Madonna has been overrated for a very long time. It's great that she has her loyal following, but I think she's a much better business woman than singer or actress.

I'm with you! All three are annoying!!!

Though MJ had his moments in the 80's, "True Blue" is a pretty good pop record and Janet was damn sexy in the early 90's. Other than that: NO!!!

Michael is the only one I really respect as a performer and musically, but only Thriller & before as far as the albums go. I'd still listen to Off the Wall, even though I think he's pretty sick now.

Janet & Madonna have good taste (usually) and know how to surround themselves with the folks that will bring out the best in them. I respect Madonna more for her original style, though. Janet just seems like a subset of Michael ( and Prince to some extent, because of Jimmy & Terry) to me.
