Steve Spacek - Space Shift Don't know if anybody ever paid attention 2 this album, it's from late 2005, and i love it!!
Very well and raw produced, with references from Jay Dilla (RIP) to D'Angelo, with co-writing of Leon Ware on 1 song! Better than the Spacek band project if you ask me, check!

Great beats, crap vocals

The tracks have more of a hip hop/dance slant to them, and are a lot looser. A friend of mine who first turned me on to it said it's more groove-oriented. I wouldn't necessarily say it's "better" than the band, but I guess it's more accessible and fun.
And the vocals are great over the beats.

I tried to start a thread on the group of guys who help produce some of Spacek's new stuff but nobody paid attention.
But I'm telling y'all, SA-RA Creative Partners are Organized Noize, Cameo, Prince and The Neptunes rolled up into one. You heard it here first!
