This entire LP is just gorgeous...it so epitomizes the beauty of NYC dance/funk/r&b from 78-83...just an incredible period musically...very special to me.

Yes, I have a white label 12" of "come let me love you"...the instrumental is sick...lots of extra percussion on it.

What a time for music!

With the love I have inside of me, we could turn this mother out.....dancing jig

What great memories that song brings back. First time I ever danced with my best friend at a gay bar on the North side of Chicago. Reminds me of one of the reasons I love him. I can't drag too many straight guys out with me. He's a loving free spirit.

WERD ! horns

"Music" is even a slight tighter ( imo )
The tingly-piano intro by Hubert Eaves , III , and James D-Train Willliams' harmonised voxes over that ...
... what follows then is some powervibe with solid hooks by the band .
Check the maxi-single version to be totally overwhelmed .

James Williams made a few years back an appearance on Bob Sinclair's club-track " Darlin' " .
Recently , James has performed many times in different European countries
and is about to play a gig next month in the UK :

I LOOOOOVE this song. I can play this song over and over again and not get tired of it. They will never make pure funk like this again. Thank goodness for the memories (and compilation CD's!). It's still pure heat! music dancing jig

I love this song! It reminds me of Northland Roller Rink on W 8 Mile in Detroit.
