Moon in Scorpio is excellent but DO NOT

Sleep on their thrid "Connected"

To Me, this is their best nod Sandra St. Victor is a force to be reckoned with but the girl who filled her shoes, Jakii McGhee.....oh hell yes worship Replacements rarely ever seem to work out but this chick is perfect for the vibe of this album. There is such strong song writing here and you can't touch half the shit that's on here talk to the hand

This is a must have nod

PS-To those I sent mixes to, four songs from this album are in those mixes. I love this album to death! love

I still have not come up with a really good way to file my cd's. It's just too damn many of them.

New World Order, Plantation Radio, Moon In Scorpio, Shades of Blue and especially Education of Jamie are excellent songs. A lot of the rest of the stuff is meandering to me. Connected is a much more solid experience for me nod I recommend that fans have both albums tho nod

Ya know!? Have you gotten her live jazz cd called "Tunin' Up and Co-signin'" It's bangin'![/quote]

N'Dambi's new album is out in Japan. 'A Weird Kinda Wonderful'. It's brilliant - a lot funkier than her previous 2, plus it includes an amazing version of Soft & Wet!!!

On the Neo-Soul tip.. I'd add (a couple have already been mentioned)

India.Arie 'Acoustic Soul'
Jaguar Wright 'Denials, Delusions'
Sandra St Victor's 'Gemini'
Raphael Saadiq 'Instant Vintage'
Jazzyfatnastees 'The Once & Future'
Dionne Farris 'Wildseed Wildflower'
Brigitte McWilliams 'Too Much Woman'
Malia 'Yellow Daffodils'
Lina 'Stranger On Earth'

It's coming out later this year. Apparently called 'Signs Of Life'
I believe she's got Matthew Knowles as a manager now. Whether that's a good or bad thing - we'll see.
She was meant to play at the Music World showcase at SXSW, but as far as I could tell she didn't perform sigh

1st off, welcome to the Org! Second, interesting how you have Embrya as numero uno? I was never abig fan of Embrya, they sounded like UHS outtakes to me. Also, I like ya choice of "Dont Wanna Lose It" by Rahsaan, that's the cut! You got some good taste in Neo! thumbs up!
