50 Cent and Eminem-- 15 minutes almost up?

I thought Emenim was done, but then he came back with "Just Lose It" which let him be popular for another few years. 50 Cent may get the movie thing going, but I think hes just too big a star now and people might be sick of him by next year. We'll have to see, but my bet is by 2007 we wont see much of 50 or Eminem anymore.
Personally I am totally tired of 50's mid tempo song, they all kind of blend together. in da Club still works, but it's been so overplayed its old.

Just stop mentioning them and maybe they'll go away. That's the key.

I disagree.. I think Eminem is beyond his "15 minutes", in fact, I think he will be back in the number one charts by then.

I don't care for 50cent.. so no comment there.

Eminem had..um MUCH MUCH more than 15 minutes..that a saying for one hit wonders.

Eminem can stay I love Em

50 on the other hand...I wouldnt care if I didnt see him again. Saw the movie it was aiight, didnt play the game, heard the album..aaah..tired of him, over exposure and no real link to keep me liking him.

I wish Eminem has a break though, it was about time. I must have played Encore OUT, loved that album. He'll be back when the game is changed tho'.

The Game and Lloyd Banks..now Im waitin on them 2 come out with another hot album.
Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Eminem is a huge star. I don't see his fame fading anytime soon. 50 Cent is a different story.

Eminem, yes.

50 Cent, no.

His G-Unit roster now is impressive by anyone's standards: Mobb Depp, MOP, Mase ... .

50 Cents major business deals have proven he is not the 'village idiot' many made him out to be.

I think 50 will be around in one form or another for years.

I hear ya! Toss them all in. I know I'm no expert on hip/hop/rap music, but I can't stand to hear any of this kind of shit on BET these days. I guess I long for the old school days when artists could actually sing and play instruments. All they do now is grab their crotches, degrade women and talk about gun play. It doesn't interest me in the least.

I hate both of them. Actually, I hate Eminem's overrated punk ass more; he's the one to blame for 50's rise to the top 'cause he was the one who started up the massive hype train for this clown in late '02 through early '03, and dumbass fans ran with it. "50 cent is the future of rap" <--- Taken from Slim himself! That statement alone warrants an outstanding ass-whoopin'! He's also the one who begged Dre to meet him...

I pray three time a day ...that both of them are out...that sampling is outlawed...that singaars are back in the game....

And if praying won't do real soon then I think I'll prey.... eek

I'll second that. I wouldn't mind if cover tunes were outlawed aslo.

Eminem has had both commercial & critical success.
Even if he dissappeared at this very moment, (like him or not) his place in music history is secured.
(I, myself, like a bunch of his stuff, but I ain't die-hard.)

wave BYE!!! I'll help 'em pack!

I'm not so sure this is true, but as far as I'm concerned, neither of them could disappear into obscurity soon enough. I've always thought Em was very, very talented, but he's repeatedly wasted his gift on dumb potshots and working out his own stale personal dysfunctions in front of the entire world. After a while, who cares?! Go get a therapist already!

i don't really like any of them

but at least 50 does some club bangers whilst eminem's music to me is just a bit novelty. The only track that is bearable is "lose yourself".

50 Cent seems to be fading already. His movie and its' soundtrack bombed late last year, didn't it? And I don't hear too much from Eminem anymore.Oh wait.I just heard that he is divorcing his wife AGAIN lol

I think the public is (slowly) getting tired of these two.

Co-sign. Then again, Em just remarried [and divorced] Kim, so i'm sure that means he's working on a new album. He just needed "material".
• Did you first think Prince was gay? •

Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.
