keep hearing about how good this documentary is and always wanted to watch it, now i thought i heard bowie had decided not to let this get released. what's the story on this?

anyway they're playing a 50minute episode of this on friday at 10:30 on bbc4. is this the full show that i've heard of?

I got a copy from a guy i work with, and it`s a great documentary, i love it when he sits in the back of a limo, wearing a hat and humming to Aretha`s "Natural woman", and talks about his milk...

It's a great glimpse into perhaps the most mysterious and misunderstood period of Bowie's life. Parts of it are really hard to watch.

...but my favorite has to be this fan that just sits there and talks about where he came from and whatnot.

There is bad news and there is good news...

I had to go out last night as a friend was having a crisis and needed to talk...

I left my DVD Recorder on four-hour mode, recording, as I walked out of the door...

I muted my digital TV receiver when I was on the phone. Instead of muting my actual TV, I muted the receiver... Thus, I've recorded four hours of video with no audio.

The good news is that it's floating around the internet anyway, as a BitTorrent.
