New Musical Fascination

You know how it works. Some moments in your life you're more susceptible to music you did not care for much before.

Because Radiohead became big by making 'guitar'-music in the time I was focusing on R&B, I never gave them much props.

Then, back in the day, OK Computer just blew my mind. Still, it did not spark a search for b-side material or old material. I just kept it at that album.

Just recently, infected with the right tracks by IstenSzek, who knows how to properly stimulate my musical nodes, I started collecting. Which in my case means GET EVERYTHING...

I am currently not only listening to their music non-stop, but also reading along with the lyrics, lifted from really good site www.greenplastic.com

Can't WAIT til the new album...

So, what are the artists YOU had to grow a liking for, but now rock your musical world?

they are wonderful. i've been a fan since there first release. i have gone on and off them over the years. i really prefer their earlier "guitar-based" stuff to the computer music they've put out more recently. they are always itneresting. you can't really go wrong with them, imo.

woot!

I'm happy to hear you are loving Radiohead right now?

It's been a while since I've had an all new fascination. The last 3 weeks have been a mini Smiths/Moz renaissance for me.

Although I wouldn't call this FASCINATION yet, I finally have fallen for the most recent Ladytron. It's gone from being nice background music to a CD I actually play to HEAR.
