Me too. I do not want to see Whitney die anytime soon, especially due to drugs.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I was hoping that Whitney would learn from the mistakes that others have made (Billie Holiday,Natalie Cole, etc) but apparently, she's determined to go through this shit herself sad

I will be very sad if she loses her life to drugs. Bobby actually seems to be doing better than her.

I dont think she will, she has enough people around her who will hopefully stop it before she starts knocking on heavens door.
As said before a good lock up for a year should sort her out some rehab in a desert somewhere away from all the glitz and glamour and druggie pals.

June died from cancer, not from drugs.

It's very sad and I think unexpected that it was cancer that caught up to June.

I honestly think that sadly, Whitney's days are numbered unless she makes a huge change. It's so sad that so many African American music legends are dying so young (June, Rick James, Luther Vandross, Barry White....etc!).

It is sad...but let's be honest..a lot of those people mentioned made lifestyle choices, which if they did not cause their deaths direstly, certainly contributed to them . I don't know about Ms, Pointer, but Luther's weight and Rick James's drug intake hatened their untimely demises. And if Whitney doesn't clean up, she'll be right beside them, sad to say

I don't think it's accurate to say that. Stroke victims come in all shapes and sizes...and weight.
