omg She must love you lots. nod

I tried waching it several times on TV but I have a problem with this embarrassment I feel with shabby, grotty, stingy films. I really feel so bad I have to stop watching after 10 minutes or so.
I haven't been able to sit through Xanadu either, for example (won't mention any Prince movies shhh )
Just to think of it and I'm all redface

Thanks for the reminder though smile

'TGIF' is a cheesy movie,no doubt, and some of the "humor" just doesn't work, but if you love that era, this film is a must-see.It perfectly captures the fun and excitement of the carefree disco days, when going out to a nightcliub was the national pastime. It's a lighthearted look at the whole disco era. It's not as compelling as 'Saturday Night Fever',but I can't wait to see it again.

No,she actually appears in several other scenes too.She plays a struggling singer named Nicole Sims. She goes to the disco, trying to persuade the DJ to let her perform. We see her making several hilarious attempts to get into the DJ booth. At one point, she gets pissed when he refers to her as an "amateur"...

Listen Mr.Big Shot DJ....I ain't no amateur!! I paid my dues!

He went on to do movies,TV and even voices for animation. His real name is Chick Vennera, but in many of his projects,he is often credited as "Francis Vennera".In the 80s,I saw him on an episode of "The Golden Girls".

It didn't have a gatefold. It's actually a 3-LP set...two full albums and a one-sided bonus 12" single (Donna's "Je Taime (Moi Non Plus)".Each record has a lavish sleeve with color pics from the movie.
