Dear La Toya Fans & Special Friends:

We would like to thank you all for your love, support and your patience waiting for the new La Toya Jackson CD, ‘Startin' Over’ to be released. A lot of you have written us and asked if the CD is still coming out. The answer to that question is: "Yes! Yes! And Yes! It IS of course still coming out and we can't wait for you to hear it"! We're all SO EXCITED about this album here at Ja-Tail Records, Bungalo Records and Universal Music. It is our top priority to ensure that this album gets the proper marketing and promotion it deserves before its release. Right now we're in discussions with La Toya over the concept of her music video which will be for her first single released on radio off the "Startin' Over" CD. “What?” you might ask? “What about the two other singles which charted high on the Billboard Dance charts?” (Please continue reading below for a clarification).

La Toya has also been working extremely hard on several other projects that are very close to her heart and which you will hear and see all about very soon.

It is somewhat unfortunate that because of the continued delays (due to past distribution decisions and unforeseen mishaps - some of which are public knowledge) a lot of the songs from the original ‘Startin’ Over’ song list have surfaced all over the internet. Of course we knew this would happen and we're happy you like the songs, but we have amazing news for you: those songs you heard on-line are not on the album and the entire song list you are familiar with is NOT the final ‘Startin' Over’ CD song list! The actual song and content list from the ‘Startin' Over’ album has not been published yet and will only be published when we're closer to our 2006 release date. All-new, never-before-heard material and photos will be featured on ‘Startin' Over’. Even the cover art will not resemble what you have previously seen.

In closing, Church Of La Toya, "Toy Soldiers", you guys are GREAT! Keep up the good work and La Toya loves you all. "Just say her name, just say La Toya"!

Interesting, I was wondering what happened to this album! But, it's already two or three years old...are they implying it will be completely reworked by the time it comes out? Sounds more like the tracklist will be tweaked, some songs dropped and some added.
