"The Way To Go" The Jacksons, 1978

http://youtube.com/watch?...%201978%20

This is a long version of "Show You The way To Go" by the Jacksons during their Destiny Tour of the UK in 1978/79.

It's most interesting because of MJ great live vocals, the interaction with the audience, the awful costumes especially that of Randy's(whose on the bongos) and Marlon's dancing lol...and before I forget MJ still looked black and handsome.

Give me MJ singing live to corny disco music than grabbing his crotch to something like Jam(which he probably can't even sing live to) anyday lol lol

falloff I have to agree with you on that one.

THe performance is really cool! Who hoo! I love this version although it does not differ that much from the original one, but it just sounds better over here.

Mike´s sounds cool and he looks hot in this outfit! razz

I wish he´d do those type of shows again. No special effects, just him singing and dancing.

"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I miss that MJ, it was all about the music back then. No gimmicks and very little hype, it was just him and his brothers doing their thing...

I saw Mj and the whole family back in 1976 at a little theater in Niles, Ill called the Theatre in the round or somethinh like that. The stage went around in 360 degrees cirles really slow. That was a great night on entertainment. I was on the FRONT row. Great stuff.

Well considering at the time of the concert, jDestiny was already released your point is moot. And even if their record label did drop them, it doesn't take away for me that MJ singing live with his brothers is more satisfying to me than MJ miming while grabbing his crotch on stage.

Okay performance of a really great song. I also watched the "Dancing Machine" performance. mad The camera anlge was some slowed down footage of their feet when Mike was doing the robot. What the hell was that about?
I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!
