Ringleader of the Tormentors Got the new Morrissey today, and all I have to say is "Wow"! There's not a bad song to be found on this disc; pretty much everything deserves to be a hit. I'm far from a big fan, either; I only own a few Smiths CDs and Morrissey's solo greatest hits, so these aren't the words of a fam. I especially love "I Will See You in Far Off Places" (that guitar and sitar!!), "Dear God, Please Help Me", and "Life is a Pigsty".
Anybody else hear (and dig) this yet? I'm really interested to hear other opinions, and recommendations on where I go from here. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

Oh, also picked up the new Pink, and I also dig it. Thank God for indie-record stores selling stuff before their respective street-dates! I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

You know im groovin on this one, and i havent really cared for his last couple of cds.
He seems rather reenergized. Love the lyrics to Dear God Please Help Me. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

Oh shoot, I forgot to look for this today! Thanks for reminding me! "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

Words fail me...I got ROTT yesterday and have only listened to it four times,
and "Dear God.." reduced me to tears all four times. Morrissey has been my voice since 1984, and to hear such a beautiful voice sing, "and the heart feels free", just twists my guts!!!!...wow! A lot of it sounds like some gothic musical, partically "I'll Never Be Anbodys Hero Now" and "At Last I Am Born"...fantastic! Now running downstairs to give it another listen. Enjoy everyone! Steven.
