Toni Braxton in Philly! Just saw Toni on Saturday evening at the Tower here in Philly. Man, I love me some Toni. She was a class act. Her show was great. She did a variety of costume changes. None too skimpy just pure diva and sexy. Her sisters sang backup. The other "Tamar" was in town. LOL! Funny I bought $65 tickets and still seemed in the middle. I should have paid another $10 and I probably would have been a lot closer. Dag man! She came out in the audience and was sitting on guys laps and singing to them. I wish I could've been that boy. She still in mad shape man. Phew!! She did a mixture of old skool Toni and new. I bought a book of her photo's done in black and white as a lil' memory piece. I'mma support homegirl cuz she takes me back to when concerts were more about a certain diva status with class. And not all of today's sexme up and down nonsense. LOL! Check her out ya'll. She was real audience friendly.

I gotta check TicketMaster... The Paramount is a GREAT venue to see this kind of show - laid back stuff where you're not dancing & shit. It's basically an art deco theater, the stage is as wide as the entire room (pretty much) & there's great views everywhere.

can you please tell me the setlist as best as you can remember? Yo man, I know she started out with the song "take this ring"! And she blazed it. Most of the other songs were done in a medley type of thang. She did parts of some. Others she mixed up with a club beat feel. Sorta like a new wave remix. Overall she did unbreak my heart as a finale. All of the favorites and popular ones she performed. Sorry that's about all I can remember. I was just enjoying the performance. Not really paying attention to the lineup. I got some pics I took. I don't know how they will turn out, I was pretty far away from the stage and my camera's zoom is not the greatest. If they are any good I will post em'.

I hope "You're Makin Me High" wasn't part of a medley. That's her best song and one of THE best songs ever IMHO.
I would also die to hear "You Mean the World To Me"...8th grade memories!! I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

Well man, my suggestion is to just check her out cuz I can't remember how many songs she did or which ones were a part of a medly. I guess it's more like snippets. How could she do "all" of them completely? LOL! I would say that her show lasted about an hour and a half.
