I think i've created threads on them that haven't even received ONE reply. Charlatans UK? Or the other ones? I love the Charlatans UK, Hammond organs rule!! "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss

just because you see the name dropped when they have a new album out it doesn't quite mean their music has been discussed... and believe me compared to the ratio of Madonna, MJ, Mariah, Janet and general gossip threads, those artists definitely don't get talked about much...

O.K., but the title of the thread is "Artists that NO ONE DISCUSSES. . ." I've seen those artists I mentioned discussed more than just when an album drops. But I agree about the"discussion ratio. . " you mentioned.

Here's one: http://www.prince.org/msg/8/184864 But it wasn't as popular as the one about how beautiful Michael still is. Badly Drawn Boy, someone you hear nothing about in the US, save for a recent appearance in a Target commercial. Writing brilliant songs & crafting beautifully arranged albums. Not the best singer, though. Big Star, whose singer Alex Chilton inspired another famous Minnesota band: The Replacements--along with Big Star, the "next big thing" that never was. The Grateful Dead--a huge band that Prince fans don't seem to like. My Legacy

Man he is great. My favourite after Prince. Does anyone else around here like him? That's where you got your name, huh? I went through a big anti-Billy phase, but now I'm a musician & I have had to remind some snobby fellow musicians that "Billy Joel has more good songs than you & I combined!" My Legacy
