some of my favorite 80s songs by Kool and The Gang:
"Jones Vs.Jones" (1980)---underrated midtempo jam from the 'Celebration' album.Heard it alot on the radio in the summer of '81. "Take It To The Top" (1980)---the song "Celebration" gets on my nerves for some reason, but I love most of the other songs on that album, especially this one. "Steppin' Out" (1981) "Get Down On It" (1981) "Take My Heart (You Can Have It If You Want It") (1981) "No Show" (1981)---one of their most effective slow jams ever! Although never released as a single, there was a video for this song "Big Fun" (1982) "Joanna" (1983) "Tonight" (1983)---the video for this song is so cheesy,lol...sorta like a cheap version of "Thriller".But I like the rock feel of this song. "Misled" (1984)---I mentioned the rock feel of the previous song, and it's here on this song too. "Stone Love" (1986)---the last hit single with JT Taylor. He went solo after this song.

the video for "fresh" is one of my all-time faves...the cinderella-goes-futuristic theme cracks me up.

Love Kool & the Gang!
Fresh, and Too Hot were always my faves, and the bass is killer.
