when did it come out? I might have to get it. Operation Mindcrime is one of the best concept albums ever.

I believe its the original lineup - it sounds very much like OM1; lots of great stuff on it.

Still absorbing....

I love, love, LOVE OMI...but OMII didn't really do it for me. Geoff sounds as if he'd rather be elsewhere. There's just no emotion in his voice to me.
• Did you first think Prince was gay? •

Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

And then when they did a very quiet and intense version of Silent Lucidity... I believe it was an encore... the entire audience sang along. It really was an incredible concert experience.

No Chris DeGarmo, Mike Stone who I think is just as good.
Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

Thanks for the Link.
OM holds s special place with me. For those that remember OM and Lovesexy came out about the same time. And my friends and I at that time, use to play these 2 CDs(when CDS were still fairly new)while getting in that "right" state. And these 2 releases were perfect for that. Musically obviously miles apart but both were conceptual and visual and very enjoyable in that "right" state.
Kinda gave up on Queensryche awhile ago but I must say OMII is not bad from what I've listen to. The audio stream sound is weak but you get the idea. Very much in the vein of OM and just as progessive with a modern tilt. I'd like to hear the actual CD for better audio quality.

Operation: Mindcrime II dops tomorrow, I gotta pick it up.

I Don't Believe In Love was my favorite track from the original.

Just watched the Video for I'm American on Yahoo Music page, the video kinda weak/low budget(green screen) but the song was alright. I listened 2x!
I like it. Not trying to be obviously current but also not forgetting the past. Without being derivative.
Damn, Flaming Lips, Massive Attack and now this all coming out tomorrow.
