I've always wondered the same thing too, Z: where is her family in all of this? I remember when I was little there where pictures splashed all across magazines like JET showing Natalie Cole's mother TAKING HER TO COURT TO DECLARE HER INCOMPETENT,to cut her money & stick her into rehab when she was using...and she got her daughter back CLEAN. At the time I didn't understand why a mother would publiclly humiliate her daughter like that (because I was too young), but now, as an adult, I TOTALLY get it...how far a mother is willing to put her foot in her kid's behind to get them to straighten up- no matter how embarrassing it is....I try not to judge too harshly, but there definitely IS a part of me that wonders "where the hell is Whitney's MAMA while all this is going on???" | |
