what is the deal with this auction thing? is it for a cause of some sort or is it simply madonna's way of charging even more for tickets without excluding a large section of the public? the minimum bid for ONE tickets is 380 dollars + service fees and tax. that is 30 bucks more than the normal highest price. if it is not for a charity of some kind it just seems like really poor form. its madonna's version of ebay. 
anyway, i've noticed for quite a few shows not all the tickets have bids. also, tickets are still available for quite a few shows. seems like she may have beaten the scalpers but at a high price (no pun intended). good luck to everyone scalping tickets...looks like its gonna be a tough sell. (which is great for me cuz i'll see you at the venue, naming the price for your tickets. ) | |

The tour, which begins May 21 in Los Angeles, has sold out four shows in Paris at Bercy Stadium beginning Aug. 27, seven shows at London's Wembley Arena beginning Aug. 1, two shows at the 40,000-capacity Amsterdam Arena beginning Sept. 3, and four shows in New York's Madison Square Garden beginning June 28, as well as doubles in Los Angeles, Montreal, Miami and Chicago. but many of those US dates are not sold out. chicago has tickets available almost every time i check as does san jose, fresno, 2 of the nyc dates, and the mot recent miami date. those are the only few i've checked but its most certainly not selling out.

Madonna Ticket Info For those interested in buying or selling tickets to the Madonna show... Fact#1: The shows are selling out in less than 30 min.Vegas went in less than 20 min,Fresno sold TWO nights in 45 min. True,tickets are "held" to sell at a later date.However,Ticketmaster is holding tix for PUBLIC AUCTION!!! Take a look---Vegas auction tix is already up to $1,000 each & San Jose is up to $750 each. with six days left on the auction! Fact#2: Look up ticket brokers on line-you will find the LEGAL brokers are already selling tickets for as much as $3,500.00 EACH. Take it from a person who wasn't able to buy tickets on Monday because it sold out so quickly-the real "criminals" are the brokers and Ticketmaster!
There is some truth to what this guy is saying.After I bought my tickets,I waited around with several other fans.We saw numerous people go up to the box office,trying to buy tickets.Many fans were told that the show was "sold out",or that the only tickets left were the cheap $55 seats,which were behind the stage.Then,moments later,another fan would go up there,and suddenly,they would get good seats.We asked the guy who worked there,and he confirmed that many tickets were being "held" by the promoter and released at different times.This is odd.In any case,the San Jose show is now completely sold out and there are rumors of a second show,but so far,it hasn't been announced yet. | |

i'm sticking to my original plan. there were already people on craigslist selling at cost. i think i'll be fine. and if not, hey, i'll buy some shoes! | |
