totally just kidding! we're not buying tix on monday either, f that! last time i got crazy cheap tickets for chicago through scalpers. they saturated the market so much, it was like candy from a baby. i got three tickets for 90 bucks and, no, we were not behind the stage. lol (by the way, this was not the same night we went with you and denny. those tickets were 40 a piece.)

just wait until a few days before the show and hit up ebay. or, better yet, just show up at the venuea few hours early. you'll get a crazy deal!

That sounds like a great idea!

if we end up on this party, we will have to join one of y'all as you seem much more skilled at pulling off last minute miracles than we are nod

Possible Toronto date?
I was critical of Madonna's last show but who am I kidding, I'll go especially if I can get the same arrangement as last time.
My biggest complaint was that the show got lost in the venue. Why can't she play 3,000-4,000 seaters? (rhetorical)

every now and then i get amazed that vadge is still around, and such a force in the pop world. i'm watching the reinvention tour and just before she starts crazy for you, ol girl thanks her fans for sticking with her for over 20 years. 20 years. that's two lifetimes in pop music. and to think, everyone said she'd be a flash in the pan when the madonna album came out. she's been counted out more times than i can remember and yet she's about to embark on what is sure to be a massively successful summer tour for a record that most are calling her best in years.

vadge is no joke!

Lovely post.

I still remember that Billboard article saying Vadge would disappear in 6 months and Cyndi Lauper was the one who would reach superstardom status. Boy they were wrong, not trying to discredit Cyndi or anything.

I'm totally impressed with the way Madonna has handled her career. She's a shining example of a pop artist with longevity. She's been around for over 20 years, and she's still having Number One albums and soldout world tours. It's incredible.Madonna is no joke.

From what i understand, another date went onsale, but it also appears to be sold out. And apparently they're planning to add another.
So 4 shows for France.

Poor Australia, they're campaigning to bring Madonna back down under. Even that Molly dude that intervied her for the album promotion is getting involved. It's been 13 years since she's visited Australia.

I just heard that she's doing a total of 5 shows in Paris.Cool!

Yeah,I heard about that on-line petition to get Madonna to play Australia.I feel really bad for the fans that live there.I really wish Madonna would do a REAL TOUR for once....stay on the road for 8 months and play hundreds of cities, like the Rolling Stones or Cher. She doesn't seem to realize (or care) that she has fans all over the globe who would kill to see her in concert. These quick,3-month summer tours are simply not enough to satisfy her millions of fans.

I sort of agree, but at this point in her life i can understand why she wouldn't. She tours during the summer because her kids are off school and she wants to be near home during the school year to help raise the family.
She's in a very sticky position.
Cher and the Stones aren't in that position at the moment so they can afford to spend one year (or in Cher's case 3 years) on the road.

Yeah,I totally agree.I understand why she only tours during the summer.Family comes first and that's how it should be.I guess many fans will just have to wait until Rocco and Lourdes are much older, lol.

Alot of fans are puzzled as to why she would play there. If she wanted to play a few more California dates, why not Sacramento or Oakland? Fresno is an odd choice.

Just go with it. I might be going to the Fresno one. Though I would go to Oakland first if I was planning her tour.
