I was critical of Madonna's last show but who am I kidding, I'll go especially if I can get the same arrangement as last time.
My biggest complaint was that the show got lost in the venue. Why can't she play 3,000-4,000 seaters? (rhetorical)

every now and then i get amazed that vadge is still around, and such a force in the pop world. i'm watching the reinvention tour and just before she starts crazy for you, ol girl thanks her fans for sticking with her for over 20 years. 20 years. that's two lifetimes in pop music. and to think, everyone said she'd be a flash in the pan when the madonna album came out. she's been counted out more times than i can remember and yet she's about to embark on what is sure to be a massively successful summer tour for a record that most are calling her best in years.

Poor Australia, they're campaigning to bring Madonna back down under. Even that Molly dude that intervied her for the album promotion is getting involved. It's been 13 years since she's visited Australia.

Yeah,I heard about that on-line petition to get Madonna to play Australia.I feel really bad for the fans that live there.I really wish Madonna would do a REAL TOUR for once....stay on the road for 8 months and play hundreds of cities,like the Rolling Stones or Cher.She doesn't seem to realize (or care) that she has fans all over the globe who would kill to see her in concert.These quick,3-month summer tours are simply not enough to satisfy her millions of fans.

I sort of agree, but at this point in her life i can understand why she wouldn't. She tours during the summer because her kids are off school and she wants to be near home during the school year to help raise the family.
She's in a very sticky position.
Cher and the Stones aren't in that position at the moment so they can afford to spend one year (or in Cher's case 3 years) on the road.
