to those who have seen V is for VENDETTA

I loved the use of "Street Fighting Man" by the Rolling Stones to end the movie.

If you were to put together a CD of songs that would fit in or with this movie, what type of stuff would you include? I'd like to put together a "V for Vendetta" mixed CD of things in that same spirit.

Any thoughts?

I didn't notice... what did she sing? The only track besides the Stones that I noticed was "Cry Me a River", but i'm not sure who did it.

I did hear Cat Power in the movie! I also like the use of the Stones at the end. I wanted to stay to see all the music used in the credits, but my friends wanted to leave. neutral

I don't know what Cat Power song it was, but it was Cat Power... I'm sure the music credits will be compiled on the net or perhaps a fabulous soundtrack album, has anyone looked?

There is a Cat Power track on the soundtrack on iTunes, and also an Antony + The Johnson's track (which I don't remember in the movie). The rest of the sountrack on iTunes is instrumental.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I read the original series in Warrior Magazine, then the DC Comics conclusion when I was 18.

I always imagined The Fall's cover of The Beatles' "A Day In The Life" playing at the end of the imaginary movie in my head.

That definitely wouldn't work at the end of the film.

Really? The comic ends when that police detective walks up that deserted motorway to the North of England, doesn't it? Does the film end differently?

Very differently. I don't want to spoil it, but the film ending is a lot noisier.
