I heard Prince back in the day used to flip through magazines and see a face he really liked and used to tell his people to find her because he wanted to meet her. Basically I think he really found her attractive and did this little trick but Cindy is a down to earth midwestern girl I don't think she really was down for that kinda thing...meaning I don't think she fucked big powerful men in the biz because she didn't have to...she was a star in the modeling world and I belive got to where she was because she was professional and a hard worker so can you imagine how many guys wanted to get in touch with her?She was probably like"Whatever I'm not like all the rest!" Like any human being I guess Prince felt rejected and wrote that song. I read that they were at the same resturant in the eighties and he sent one of his dudes to go and tell her that he wanted to talk to her. She was like "Well if someone wants to talk to me they can come over and talk to me." Prince was probably like Oh no she diiiidin't!

Oh yeah. I never read anything reliable that they were a couple or anything. I read they met on a plane going to england or coming back from england or something.

Whatever. She was one beautiful woman. I think Christy Brinkley is the model that wins that title.

But she almost represented what a us model should look like, which was alot more curvier then todays "spokeswoman", paris hilton how tall was cindy? If prince was interested in her, she musta been quite small

If I didn't make it clear that I was speculating I'm sorry but that thing about the resturant came from Cindy in an interview with Maxim last year.

Yeah, Krys is on target about it. That was good for P's little ass cuz any grown man that has to send one of his boys over to deliver a message NEEDS to get rejected. And that's real. I don't need ANYBODY to break the ice for me. That shit is sooo far from being cool, it's not even funny. I wanna break the ice and definately do the approaching. I want to make the eye contact, (which is crucial), read her body language, etc. She's got to reject me to my face, and if so, cool, I bounce. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Yep. That is the way to go. Rejection suxs big time but it's funny...for me being a dancer it makes me appreciate how hard it must be for a guy to approach a girl at a bar. Like going around asking for lapdances in a strip club the roles are reversed. Usually the guy says yes but you get your no's too and it's hard not to take it personally. But oh well there is some other guy out there that may drop a G on you so no need dewelling on someone who rejects you.
