Check out this Beatles auction on eBay. I ran across this thread in the in eBay discussion forums: http://forums.ebay.com/db...3317644867
This is the initial post: I hope someone can help...we are an ebay drop-off store and we have a client who has 3 records of the Beatles that say they are a master copy proof. One says the title is "Revolver" the other is "SGT Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" and "Beatles At The Hollywood Bowl" They all have the project number and the year. The "Revolver" has the master number. Also our client has several pictures taken at Capitol Records of Frank Sinatra, Marlyn Monroe, Dinah Shore and Mary Martin. I know they are authentic because a relative of our client worked at Capitol Records in the 50's. Also there are framed Gold Records of the Kingston Trio. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Beatles experts and collectors have jumped on the thread which has evloved into a cool discussion regarding the authenticity of the recordings and their historical significane. The Revolver acetate is currently up for action: http://cgi.ebay.com/Beatl...dZViewItem a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on | |
