Eric Clapton.."SLOWHAND"(1977) I recently picked up Eric Clapton's 1977 album SLOWHAND. This is the one featuring LAY DOWN SALLY, COCAINE and BEAUTIFUL TONIGHT. I decided that I will spend this weekend "tearing" this album apart. I have yet to play it but I hear that it is regarded as a classic. Any feedback on this album? I will listen to the CD today and tomorrow and come back to the post on Sunday and read your responses. So give your comments on the "Slowhand" CD by Eric Clapton.

This is my favorite Eric Clapton album. It's definitely his most consistent pop/rock album.Brings back alot of memories for me.I remember hearing the singles "Lay Down Sally" and "Cocaine" ALOT on the radio back then.
