i LOVED that version of D&D...thought it was beautiful and her best vocals EVER.

lol

I was shocked to read people's responses to that performance as I thought EVERYONE would hate it. Man was I off the mark.

Madonna's performance of "Deeper and Deeper" was a highlight of the RIT shows.I was really, really impressed. Her vocals were incredible during this song.I really wish she had performed a medley of her hits in this style....maybe follow up "Deeper and Deeper" with "Cherish","True Blue" and "He's A Man".That would have been amazing!!

I'm sure that Madonna will come up with something great. She's never let me down as far as doing a great live show. When the themes first were rumored for the DWT and the Reinvention tour, they sounded dumb, but everything worked out great in the end. She really knows how to put an entertaining show together.
Even the DWT was amazing, when she didn't play that many of her hits.

nod

I've seen the Blond Ambition Tour, the Drowned World Tour (2 nights) and the Re-Invention Tour (3 nights) and I've never been disappointed. Her concerts are always brilliant and exciting, imo.I admire the way she presents her songs....it's all very dramatic and theatrical.

Well i hope she does most of the album because i enjoy it so much and would be great to perform live.
I really dug the DWT for her not bringing out all the old hits. She's on tour to promote the album and that's what she should do.

But i doubt any of this info is correct anyways, all this insider shit is never accurate and it's just usually wild fans making up shit cause they're bored.

I think it will most likely be 7 tracks from the album and the rest being hits and possibly obscurities.

I think that she is wise to perform most of 'Confessions'.These songs are gonna translate well to a live setting.Imagine sitting in your seat, waiting for the show to begin.....the light go down....people stand up and start cheering....you hear the opening synths of "Get Together"....it's all an illusion....there's so much confusion....a huge disco ball appears, and it opens up like a spaceship....out comes Madonna, dressed like a 70s disco queen....down,down....down in your heart....find,find....find the secret....okay,I'm getting a little carried away here, but I am extremely hyped about this tour!! lol

Sounds good.
Remember how she paid tribute to Motown during her Girlie Show by incorporating classics mixed into her performances? I want her to do that with disco classics, that would be HOT.

Apparently the tour announcement is today, heres hoping anyway.

I agree, she really should add some old disco classics to this tour...maybe a few lines of "Night Fever" thrown into "Everybody"....a few lines from "Ring My Bell" mixed into "Hung Up" hmmm the possibilities are endless and it would be alot of fun to see.

As for the tour announcement coming today....a ClearChannel rep says it will be announced on April 3rd of 4th.Who knows?

BITCH better play Future Lovers!

Even if it's just during a costume change nod

She would be crazy not to include this song. She could film a stunning new video for it,and use it as a transitional piece, while she's offstage preparing for the next set.Or she could have her dancers perform a kickass routine to it (think of how "Hollywood" was used on the Re-Invention Tour).Somehow,I think this song will be included.

I cant even express how happy id be if she payed Borderline, its one of her best songs ever. The time is right for her to play it again, just like it was for her to do Crazy For You on the last tour. Where's the Party im not so sure about, and i want.....no DEMAND a proper dance version of Like A Prayer, like she did on the BAT. All this acoustic singalong shit is all very well, but it aint how the song is supposed to be.

I'd also love for her to do "Physical Attraction",one of the best songs from her debut album. She also should seriously consider adding "Dress You Up" to the setlist. If she insisted on opening with an old song, that one would make alot of sense.

I thought the whole thing was supposed to be disco! That was gonna be cool...70s disco, 80s disco, Studio 54 disco, future disco, raver/electronica, electro clash, break dancing...that had me excited.

Months ago,I came up with a dream setlist/concept in which each set would be devoted to a different dance music period...

Set 1) 70s disco theme
Set 2) 80s New York nightclub theme
Set 3) 90s techno/rave theme
Set 4) "Future Disco" theme, devoted to the new album

It would have been really interesting, imo. But keep in mind that, this was NEVER Madonna's idea for the tour.It was just wishful thinking on my part, lol.

Who in the world hates the original "Nothing Fails". I didn't dig the remix I can't understand why that was promoted as a single (sort of). The original kicked ass and everyone knew it (she got a huge reaction when she preformed it live on an MTV special).

no kidding, it's one of my favorite madonna tracks EVER

I never really pay much attention to the setlists until opening night reports start to come in. It seems that every other day another one appears somewhere. With Re-Invention, I must've read at least 12 different threads with "confirmed" setlists on them before the show even kicked off. Not one of them was even close to being correct. Don't worry just yet.

future lovers should not only be on the setlist but it should be the opening song. its perfect, that spoken bit at the beginning...

the music starts as the lights go down. the curtain (or whatever's hiding the stage) opens while madonna's voice starts..."i'm gonna tell you about love..."

the dancers are slowly taking the stage while plumes of smoke come from the stage...

"in the evidence of its brilliance..."

madonna comes from above, onto the stage...

"come into the sky, future lovers ride..."

perfect!

From: http://www.madonnatribe.com/news/

MadonnaTribe has heard news about the new tour set list that Madonna and her band are currently rehearsing. Please be aware that the following is, obviously, a spoiler of the upcoming tour experience and also please keep in mind that things are still subject to change.

"Isaac" is indeed part of the currently rehearsed set list. The song is part of the second and more "serious" part of the concert, and is performed live by Madonna joined on stage by Yitzhak Sinwani.

Sinwani also appears later in the show, when Madonna performs a live acoustic version of her "Paradise Not For Me" in the third segment of the concert, the one that somehow brings back some of the intimate feel of her "Drowned World" and "Re-Invention" tour moments, and preceeds the fourth, and final part of the show.
