THE SUBWAYS Just saw them tonight at the Troubador in LA - they were so charming and energetic - and SO YOUNG! I think they have a great future... anyone else like them? [Edited 3/24/06 0:08am] VOTE....EARLY | |

They encored with 'My Little Rock n Roll Queen" - it was a short set (considering they are freshmen) but they were excellent live - and they connect with the crowd in such an energetic way. VOTE....EARLY | |

They encored with 'My Little Rock n Roll Queen" - it was a short set (considering they are freshmen) but they were excellent live - and they connect with the crowd in such an energetic way. Glad to hear the show was fun. I don't know that we can blame the manager. They have several clips of the OC taping on their website, including interviews on location. They seem kind of into it. [Edited 3/24/06 11:33am] Well, then I blame their age - they are QUITE young! Cute a  too.  I swear, with all the jumping the Subs do on stage - I noticed that they barely broke a sweat! And to be honest TV shows with a younger demographic is a good way to get the music out there. And let us not forget that Beck's latest CD also appeared on the OC (one of the show's creators is a huge fan of Beck - saw him at the Beck concert last year - and he likes to feature bands that he likes on his show. (I know someone who knows him  I know, that's SO L.A.  )VOTE....EARLY | |
