It must really suck to be in entertainment today. Unless you're under 14 you're going to have a hard time in this age of technology. With DV and HDTV and all the artifacting that comes from the current mediums. Character lines that are attractive in life, translate to deeper unattractive lines in digital media. Some retouch is needed just to balance that all out. What sucks more are the guys that hide in bushes with cameras waiting to get you at your worse. They all use the digital cameras.

I like the finished product. It's too bad that the original photo got out though. Maybe it's the retouch guy's ego or something. We all know that this is not uncommon. There's not a photo out there (Supermodel or not) that doesn't go thru this type retouch.

What are you guys seeing wrong with the first one?

I guess I'm not seeing it because she looks excatly the same....Just different colors. The one above is much more attractive.

I'm really tired of ppl on the org, trying to always find some imperfections with madonna.
She's 47 years old, what the fu*k, she still looks great, even better than Britney Spears old looking ass.

So I don't think its cool to continue on trying to make madonna look bad!
She's human and human beings age, we don't stay the same forever.
She's still in very good shape, taking care of her body and she does it like no other.

If someone constantly stuck a picture of your faces online to make fun of you because your looking older, I'm sure you'd be hurt. Don't none of these celebs old or young, look as good in person as they do in magazines and videos.
Its all production and make up with lights and airbrushing.

I think Madonna looks pretty good for her age, but I can't stand her hair do these days. I know it's supposed to reflect the 70's but it looks awful on her.

Madonna could have gone with a more natural cover but that would have required just as much retouch. I like it the way it is though. Besides,isn't the CD a party CD anyway? If so, the cover is fitting. Perhaps when she does something more personal, she'll go more natural.

when comparing the two, the top one is awful and because the bottom one is so over retouched it makes the top one look like shes 80. but when you examine the top one by itself and dont scroll down, then compare it to other 47 years olds skin, she really has great skin for her age.

And have you noticed...
Sometimes she has a gap between her front teeth, sometimes not.
