I know it ain't a funky song by any means but the production is pure R&B and it's one of the very few numbers in her catalogue that proves beyond all doubt that she can sing. If she hadn't have hollered and hooted all over the damn thing, I think it would have been one of the best things she's ever done.

Oh yeah, and I watched the video off of YouTube (yup, it's on there!), and I wasn't too impressed. Certain elements of it were interesting (like the balance beam in the sky), but other elements like the stick figure, the digital eyes/lips, and the rehashed 'place-body-onto-someone-else's' shtick just spoiled it for me. This newly recorded, clean version of the song for the movie "Stick It" sucks, too, IMO. She sounds constipated and boyish.

I had to watch that twice because I couldn't figure out what the appeal was...especially since the FX couldn'ta cost more than 150 dollarz.

The only good thing about it the energy...and the whole subliminal impact of the crowd frenzy thing. Take the crowd out of the song and there's nothing left.

Missy has her knack for making things work.

i agree this should have been the second single, but the label wanted teary eyed to be the second single even before the lose control video came out. it seems to fit as a third single more than any other song on the album.

The video is EXTREMELY fun. There is something crazy going on in almost every scene. This is one of her best. Parts of it made me laugh out loud.
