Not really, about as long as it takes to type 'songs with days of week in them' into a search engine and look at the results, then the additional time to cut and paste, then a few more seconds to randomly remove some of the songs to make it less obvious that I got the list off a website, so it'd make me look clever, so about 2 minutes in total. Except I don't look so clever now, damn it.

"Saturday Night" by Earth Wind and Fire (1976)
"Sunday Morning" by Earth Wind and Fire (1993)

lol hey, they should perform those songs back-to-back in concert, lol

I also recall an early-80s funk jam called "Saturday Night",but I can't recall who sings it.The chorus goes...

sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday saturday saturday night we all party down

and let's not forget the 1979 disco classic "Living It Up (Friday Night)" by Bell and James.

Dang I haven't listened to "Saturday Night" in ages, but the chorus brought back memories. I need to track that one down.
