dammit, you all are reminding me what a neophyte I am, as usual. I don't have any b-sides or compilations or anything... sad I've been waiting three weeks to get my Boys For Pele sheet music tho... I better contact Amazon, like, what's the deal? mad

she is a great b-sides artist.... some of my favorite Tori tracks are b-sides. Merman, Cooling, Never Seen Blue, Upside Down, Honey.... ahh. Such goodness smile

I betcha that the DVD collection is just the start of Rhino exploring her back catelog. Hopefully we'll see some nice deluxe reissues soon.

I ADORE her live performance of "Real Men" on late night TV from around 2001.

I didn't see that tour, but if it was anything like that performance, I bet it was uber-intense.

there are some good recordings from that tour floating around; i have Atlanta and Charlotte I believe. I saw her 6 times on that tour. I took a week off work and went to Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, and the 2 D.C. shows, then philly the following weekend. They were all simply amazing..... She did this version of Icicle that just made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. And in Nashville, i was dead center, front row (except for one row of foldup chairs in front of me), and i swear during MAAG it seemed like she was staring right at me during the entire song.... i felt like i couldn't even breathe, it was insanely intense. you could have heard a pin drop in that place. she is unbelievable as a performer when she is at her best.

I agree ~ last Summer in Toronto, Sassy and Ronnie and Gangsta and I had the insanely good fortune to find second row center seats on our way into the venue. I was mesmerized the entire show and had to keep reminding myself to breathe.
Tears were running down my face but I wasn't even aware. I felt absolutely
transported to another world.

Those are some of my favorites too.

I would love it if some double disc action came our way.

I was disappointed by Neil Gaiman's American Gods, I think that Clive Barker is a better writer.

They are known for different genres. The work Gaiman did on Sandman was some of the best writing for comics and graphic novels ever done in that medium.

Clive Barker writes a different kind of fiction in different media.

They are both amazing writers, though.

It's so strange to me that most of my org friends and I line up just about exactly with our taste in music EXCEPT for Tori. hmmm

She only has one song on the tribute album. Just hit the skip button when you get to it.
