E-music!!This is where I got Yesterdays New Quintet and this is where I got Sun Ra's Atlantis,Languidity,Jazz In Silhouette, and Nuclear War!!I'm loving these!!Languidity is incredible!!I'm spending time with these one by one so I can take them in.I did cheat a few times, though. YNQ is great,as well. But teh sound of Languidity is ...you gotta hear it. I have also been listening to 3121 and I like that and I gotta get Ben Harper,Donald Fagan, and Kool Keith's April cd,MR NoGATCO. E-music is the bizzomb!

Rock on down with Sun Ra's singles, Audience.

That compilation is cool, but it always makes me laugh that Ra of all people recorded singles allegedly for general commercial consumption. Ra was always Ra whoever was supposed to be listening. cool

Why can't they make 'Sun Ra's 20 Golden Greats' or 'Sun Ra's Wonderful World of Christmas'? eek Wouldn't surprise me if the latter might even be in the vaults somewhere ...

That is quite funny.

But they weren't total inhabitants of Toon Town. nuts
Most were done in runs of 50 copies.

The accompanying booklet alone (super detailed) is worth the price of the set.
