LL Cool J. Rappers come and go but LL Cool J is one of the only rappers who started around 1984 still doing his thing.

I'm not at all a fan of her old songs, but am a big fan of new stuff. It took quite a while for me to understand that her music had improved as much as it has. I rarely ever listen to her first three albums. The music she does now is so much more interesting and substantial. She's one of the few 80s artists whose music has actually gotten better in the 90s and beyond.

It's strange to have formulated such a strong opinion from my experience of her in the 80's (I clearly remember when the Lucky Star video first came on MTV) and then come back two decades later and realize all that has happened.

What about Depeche Mode? Their current CD is pretty good. See the man with the blue guitar, maybe one day he`ll be a star...

I was completely uninterested, though very familiar with her hits and videos over the years. It's really weird how it's all turned around. She really is expansive in the kind of work she's done over the years. It's hard to not notice.

Seeing as I'm a huge Bob Dylan fan, I must give props to Bob.
He won a grammy in 1997 for Album of the Year. He won an Oscar for best orinigal song. He has been nominated for book awards AND he has an extremely loyal fan base who rally each year for him to win a Nobel in literature. I'm sure one day he will. He tours relentlessly and releases new music every few years and does a little acting too. I would say that Bob has not dropped off in the least!!

The Rolling Stones - even though some of the recent albums were kinda hit or miss , the latest one "A Bigger Bang" was excellent. And they always kick-ass live #SOCIETYDEFINESU

U2--never really dropped off for me
Aerosmith--not quite as great, but still damn good Tom Petty--one bad album in 20+ years--not too shabby David Bowie--loved Hours, only liked the last 2 albums but he's till great in concert Prince--I think he's on his way back How 'bout dropped off the most?: Elvis Costello--have all his cds but I saw him live a couple of years ago--awful show Rolling Stones--liked the beg. of their new album, that's the best I can say R.E.M.--they're just really boring now INXS--a couple good songs doesn't make an album Oasis--hard to remember that their first 2 cds(and all of their bsides from that time) were brilliant Radiohead--I know I'm gonna get hell for this...I love their first 3 cds but I haven't been able to make it through an entire album since then. Strictly for music critics.
