But Buckcherry's not good. However, Lit was pretty cool. They just started repeatin themselves pretty severely and then disappeared.

There are several bands that are releasing music today that I hold as original. Gimme a break with that "nothing's new under the sun" speech .
Like I said "very few" bands can claim 2 b original nowadays. K? If you say so. Buckcherry wasn't the only hard rock band at the time of their debut and I would hardly say that their 80s glam/heavy metal retreads were "great." What is it about those songs that makes you think they're musical manna from heaven? Obviously I've a different conception of what "good" and "great" mean to me than some of you. Buckcherry was a "fun" listen but "great?" I dunno...
On the mainstream they were (Even at that I love the cocaine...lyrically aint all that radio friendly) in 1999 u had Papa roach, limp bizkit etc. To me, that's a fun listen. After I've weeded through the style, the image and promotion, I'm left with mediocre songs. Attitude only gets you a few spins on my record player. You gotta have substance in order for me to think you're great or good. And I think NME's a joke. In fact, sometimes, I think the entire UK musical press is a joke.

Every artist has style, image etc. Even prince. Nowadays u need 2 have a killer video (Buckcherrys sucked) I despise the NME, however read this review of Buckcherrys second album, it is HILAROUIS and captures what the band was all about. http://www.nme.com/review...herry/4488 U can hear there new song here... http://www.myspace.com/craigssoapbox
