lol

Hey, Santana did it just a few years ago. It could happen.

He got for the wrong stuff imo. confused

I could think of at least 3 or 4 albums by him that were more worthy than that PLOP (Pop/Flop).wink

It is my record of the year....I finally had a chance to sit down, listen, appreciate.....it takes a while to absorb it all....I'm still letting it sink in, and so far it is settling in nicely! thumbs up! ....I'm going to be appreciating this CD for a very long time....

Oh, wait, I'm a woman...then again, maybe I want to be da babe!
Seriously, this CD is true art...ars gratia artis....something that the American public cannot always understand or appreciate, or more clearly will not take the time to appreciate....kinda like the difference between jazz in the US and jazz in Europe. eek

I think You put your finger on it...the fact that you have to take the time to appreciate it....in this day and age, most young pop fans have the attention span of a squirrel....

but not if you're already into the Fagen/Dan sound from previous work... it didn't take much time for me, I loved most songs after the first spin, ALL songs after the second spin... and adored everything after the third... there were not any albums in recent years I could say the same thing about
Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

I've just given it two more intense listenings... maybe it's just the heat of the moment, but right now I have the feeling this could very well make it into my personal all time album Top 10
