Honestly yes. I don't care where you grew up, Stevie Wonder was there.
I don't now or really have ever listened to "white" music but I'd bet I know more about "white" artist than 95% of the listening public. I consider myself a musician and I have to know these things. How can you hold a real conversation about music with someone if you don't know a thing about it? It just doesn't fly with me.

They screwed me out of going 4 for 4 last week.
I had the 1st 3 down pat and then they picked Bucky over Gedeon.
That straw headed Ryan Seacreast set me up by bringing Bucky's other brother Bucky onstage.
I can still hear the UVMs (Unwashed Voting Masses) now, "Aren't they cute. TWO twins." Jeez. disbelief

Mandisa, Elliot and Katharine (valley girl) are the best technical singers.
But we all know this isn't a talent show, it's a popularity contest.

Paris and Lisa are fun to watch because of their poise and professionalism at such a young age.

Taylor is just fun to watch period. smile

The genre-singing will further expose the rest of the field.
