Yep, I totally agree with you Anx. I love TTD's work. Someone above said he has a terrible voice (wtf). I don't know who that dude is listening to because TTD has a great voice. One of the best IMHO!

there's nothing at all wrong with that man's voice.

Not only is there nothing wrong with his voice, he has one of the best voices out there. Emotional, passionate and he sings in key!

It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

His debut is by far his weakest record, in my opinion. It's clearly not the work of the same risque-taking artist that Terence became later on, just mainstream 80s R&B, not much more. Some wacky song titles, but no real invention.

Well I have seen him live many times over the years and IMO he's a great live artist. His voice is as amazing on stage as it is on record. In fact my favourite concert ever by any artist was the only one I saw of his Vibrator tour and I've been to a lot of concerts including about 50 Prince concerts wink .

I've never seen him live unfortunately, but from the stuff I've seen on video and audio of various performances over the years, he's not consistently great... but boy when he's on form he's fucking amazing.

Yeah, I've got the DVD of that. But I was most impressed with the little I've been able to download of the 'Love, Peace & Tolerance' live bootleg CD. I wish I could find that for a reasonable price.

Don't worry, while I think he's great live I personally got to see him live way too up close some three years ago. You know, he wouldn't have needed to stick his crotch on my face so many times during the show. It taught me a good lesson not to rush so ardently to the first row at his gigs.

Haha. The last time he played the UK was only when I was JUST becoming an ardent fan, so I didn't find out about the show until a few days before, and I couldn't get anyone to agree to go with me in time.

Well, it worked for me exactly the way you just described. I still haven't heard this album. Bizarrely enough, TTD's earlier cover art (even the singles) have all been great. Even if they all would had been photo portraits of him with some additional graphic design they've been of really high standard. I always thought it had to do with the guy himself expressing his views on them, but now that I've seen with mr. Maitryea managed to himself with his cracked copy of Photoshop... oh well...
