Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies

Anyone know where on the internet I could view some pics from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies that took place Monday night, March 13, in NYC? I would like to see who was there to represent Miles Davis..... hmmm I am a huge fan.
I have searched around myself, but apparently I am not clever ehough to find what I am looking for... duh

Did anyone see the whole Blondie fiasco (not the performance, but the speech)? It was so hard to watch.

Yeah, I heard the same thing. Apparently, Debbie didn't want two of the original members on stage with her.

I heard the show was a bit of a fiasco.

eek Whoa, almost missed this.

Herbie Hancock and Mike Stern (that looks like Marcus Miller onstage also).
Glad to see that Ahmet Ertugen is still getting around.

This must get DVR'd.

I think Herbie Hancock and Sting were both there, so it was probably one of them.

From what I saw, it looks like a very boring show that I will not be watching. I saw some of the coverage of the Blondie debacle on the news and it looked very pathetic.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Blondie: yes, that was bitchy of her. She could have let them share the glory for one friggin night, afterall, they WERE her band...and it WAS all about THEN. She has a new band now...but who really cares. The BITCH slammed a door in my face 30 years ago. Once a bitch, usually always a bitch and that little bit of drama isn't going to get her anywhere now.

cool From what i heard about the show. It was the worst one so far. The Sex Pistols boycotting & Blondie arguing with her ex band members. What a fiasco!

hmmm Maybe I can get my DVR to just record the Miles Davis Tribute section.
There's no way that segment could be bad with Herbie Hancock, Mike Stern and Marcus Miller playing.

hmm

That is totally not The Sex Pistols. It sounds like you are describing a more traditional rock band. Like the Stones.

According to Chris Stein on the news this morning, the three ex-members of Blondie sued him and Deborah Harry and that's why they didn't want the three of them performing on stage.

herb alpert founded A&M Records with Jerry Moss. They were inducted into the hall and fame. Herb was a huge supporter of Janet's during the Control era.

That's why I gave a link to the A&M roster so folks could see what a wide range of artists they had.

And you're right...

...this was hot stuff in its day. cool
