One of my favorite songs of the disco era was Donna Summer's "Sunset People" which came at the tail end of the era. This song continued the futuristic feel of the earlier hit, "I Feel Love".

Sunset People" seemed to have the perfect "late night" vibe to end side four of the "Bad Girls" album following the continuous flow of two other futuristic songs, "Our Love" and "Lucky". Donna Summer and Georgio Moroder were great together. It was the perfect ending song to a perfect disco album which ended the era.

The other day,I was checking out the Donna Summer videos on YouTube.I came across the video for this song.It was actually from her 1980 television special.Donna is seen roaming down Sunset Boulevard,playing different characters.Check it out! Someone also posted her performance of "Bad Girls" from the same TV special.

I remember seeing that special back when it originally aired. I don't remember too much about it but I do remember Donna being thrown in the back of a police car at the end of "Bad Girls".

I would love to check out "You Tube" but the computers up here say "Blocked By Websense".
