Favorite emcees/lyricists No particular order.

My favorite, and arguably the most underrated lyricist of all time, is Kelvin Mercer, a/k/a Plug One, a/k/a Posdunous of De La Soul.
The greatest, I believe, is Rakim, the quintessential MC. The other MCs: Chuck D KRS-ONE MF Doom Common Mos Def Ghostface Ish a/k/a Butterfly Redman LL Cool J MC Lyte Notorious B.I.G. I do realize your talking about rap BUT, if we're strictly talking lyricists here, then Bob Dylan rules!! No one can touch Bob when it comes to lyrics. He is the best in the business! I know most of you won't get it, but maybe one day you'll see the light. | |
