Well I think that you may have a boot. There only D'angelo live cd is Live At The Jazz Cafe & that was released before Voodoo. There was talk of a DVD of the Voodoo Tour but nothing came of it.

I hope D comes back at some point. It would be such a waste of talent if he didn't. I know he's been into drugs the past few years, but I hope at some point he sees the light and gives up all that shit and gets back into the studio again. Voodoo is one of my favourite cd's.

In the music world, that is an eternity and many people have moved on and forgotten about him.If and when D'Angelo ever releases a new CD,who knows if his audience will still be there?
Everyone except the prolific neo soulster - Musiq soulchild. That dude dropped 3 albums in 4 years. True but that last one sounds like they wrote and recorded it in a week. It was not very good. I dug the 1st 2 though.

In fact, it's kind of weird that Prince has never had ANY run-ins with the law or any substance problems that we know of. Kind of odd and rare at the same time for a man that's been in the industry for almost 30 years now. http://launch.yahoo.com/r...s/12062788 "The Artist Arrested For Doing The Nasty At The Movies 07/14/1999 4:00 AM, LAUNCH Craig Rosen (7/14/99, 1 a.m. PDT) - While Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst was arrested in Minnesota for assault (LAUNCH, 7/14), the Artist Formerly Known As Prince reportedly found himself in trouble with the law in the same state for making love. According to the Artist's official website, www.love4oneanother.com, he and "his woman were questioned and released after apparently being discovered making love in a public cinema in Chanhassen, Minn." However, the site says that no charges were filed against the former Prince, since he had rented out the theater after-hours "and it couldn't be considered a crime, as they were alone at the time."" "D'Angelo's got enough amazing material for ten albums by now. Unfortunately, due to an on-going dispute with Virgin Records, there's still no deadline to deliver a finished record - much less a release date. I could do another number on the pitfalls and limitations of today's music industry and how they inhibit an artist such as D'Angelo, but I'll spare you the pain. Sooner or later, an album will find its way to the public and, God willing, D'Angelo will be motivated to find his way back to the stage. And then we can re-start our mission to share this young man's true stature. At his core, he probably IS the most gifted and exciting artist and performer since Prince. I live for the day when the rest of the world can discover what a few of us already know about the depths of his gift. " ... [Edited 3/13/06 23:30pm] C'mon Leeds, Prince wasn't just "Prince" cos he was supremely gifted and exciting. He's Prince because his muse, music, reigns over any demon that could ever torment him. I think D'Angelo's a talented cat, but his gifts, discipline and work ethics aren't nowhere near Mr. Nelson's. [Edited 3/14/06 14:49pm]

He was very repetitive, but he was a true musician. I wish he stayed for a little more time, and released other albums.

He is when you actually think about it. It's sad because this guy has wasted his talent away. I think he did have one or two more hits after his first album. The second album was not as good though.
